The first noticeable feature the iPhone 5 is expected to have is the iOS 5. This OS was unveiled at Apple’s exhibition in June and it has hundreds of new apps and motion gesture input methods. The iOS 5 is far ahead of any competing OS brands in the market today. The iCloud feature is also expected to be present and to be used in full flow. Via iCloud you can wirelessly access photos, calendars, documents, files, etc. The iPhone 5 will automatically be able to sync with the iCloud service and update your files. The iPhone 5 is also expected to run on the Apple A5 chip with a 1.5 GHz processor.The A5 has a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU with NEON SIMD accelerator and a dual core PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU. This means that the iPhone 5 will be twice as fast as the previous model and this means that your net browsing, multi tasking, etc. will all become a surreal experience. The camera is also supposed to be an upgraded one with rumors that you can shoot 3D videos using the iPhone 5. The Panorama or 360 degree picture feature is expected to be present in the iPhone 5 along with the capacity to record videos in 1080p HD. The display screen size is also expected to increase to around 3.75 inches. Some say that it might even become 4 inches. You will also get 4G services with the iPhone 5 and it will be LTE network compatible. The other new feature to be introduced is the simless nature of the phone. It is expected to be a world phone which requires no Sim card. This phone will have GSM and CDMA capabilities and is expected to be a revolutionary model. Besides all the above features the classic features of the iPhone will remain. The capacitive touch screen with multi touch interface and scratch resistant OLED TFT display, HD audio, newer multi tasking look and an increased RAM are some of the other new features.

With the release of the iPhone 4S the expected date of the iPhone 5 has been pushed back and it is expected to be released in early September of 2012. The iPhone 5 release date is not known for sure by anyone.
