There are plenty of mobile phones out there that offer an extra level of sparkle, but it’s clear that the Apple iPhone 4 is proving to be one of the most popular with celebrities.
The device has been snapped in a famous hand many, many times since it was launched last year, here are just a few examples of stars that never leave their house without an iPhone in their pocket or Gucci handbag.
Justin Bieber
On multiple occasions, the pint-sized pop phenomenon has been seen out and about with his trustee Apple handset in tow. At one point, Bieber even tried to get his own back on the snap-happy paparazzi by holding up the phone and using its 5-megapixel camera to take his own picture of them.
As a regular Twitter user, the teenage singer has the option to reach his 6.5 million plus followers with 140 characters of celebrity chatter any time he wants and regularly updates his account using UberTwitter. This particular social networking app was launched last year after a popular spell on the BlackBerry.
Megan Fox
The actress shot to fame a few years ago following Michael Bay’s phenomenally successful Transformers movies. However, it isn’t just on the silver screen the fantastic Ms Fox can be seen face to face with a technological marvel, as she too is a keen iPhone user.
So far, the star has been seen waving down a car with the phone’s 3.5-inch widescreen Multi-Touch display and was also spotted cuddling up to husband Brian Austin Green for a picture using the device’s front-facing camera technology. Evidently, it seems the allure of the iPhone 4 is just as tempting for Hollywood as it is for the rest of us!
Victoria Beckham & Coleen Rooney
So while it’s clear the stateside stars have a lot of love for the iPhone, it seems our British WAGs also like to have this particular mobile phone tucked away in their designer handbags. In fact, two of the world’s most famous footballers’ wives have been snapped by the press with the latest incarnation of the Apple handset.
Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen was seen relaxing on the beach with one last year and might have been using the gadget to keep up with her famous hubby’s on and off-pitch activities. David Beckham’s missus, former Spice Girl Victoria, was spotted looking typically stylish on one occasion, sporting the usual oversized sunglasses, designer outfit and – of course – her trustee iPhone 4.
So, while there are plenty of glamorous pay monthly mobile phones available, it seems the Apple iPhone is a long way from being ousted as a style icon. Available to everyone, it certainly seems like one way of adding a little glamour to your life!
