In case you’re Amish or have been living in a cave for the last few months, September 12 was the release date for the new Apple Iphone 5. Now that the phone and it’s features have been announced, it’s time to look at the newest Iphone next to it’s closest competitors and see how it stacks up. Luckily for Apple, they could produce a paper weight with a glowing piece of fruit on it and fan boys would line up around the block for it all the same.
How Does The Iphone Stack Up Against It’s Closest Competitor?
The newest Iphone comes with an impressive spec sheet, It’s faster, thinner and has a better camera than it’s predecessor. Apple has finally stopped telling it’s customers how big they want their smart phone screen to be and started listening to what consumers actually want. The Iphone 5 sports a large 4″ display that is still a far cry from the 4.8″ offered by Samsung on the S3. Apple has long-maintained that 3.5″ is the ideal screen size and that consumers would not want anything larger. I’m sure they would argue that everybody changed their mind the night before the Iphone 5 was released.
