I was told the same thing by every person and every website I found until I proved them wrong. Most articles are going to try to convince you that you are required to downgrade your iPhone for the possibilities of even trying to tether. looking through these articles, I found that it involved a bunch of risky, file moving requirements in order to achieve this goal. It’s at easy as 1, 2, 3. Read below to find out how to turn your iPhone into a wireless router in no time!

So dispense of everything you know about what you have been told and listen up. Open up your iPhone and go to Safari. once you have opened up Safari, go up to the URL bar and select it with your finger. Erase all of the content and type it jailbreakme.com. once you get there it should take a couple of seconds for the download to open. It will ask you to slide your finger across (like unlocking your phone) to jailbreak. if you choose to do so the jailbreak will start and begin to download. once downloaded it will restart your phone and tell you that it has added new applications to your home screen.

Keep in mind that if you choose to jailbreak you have full permission to reverse the process. All you have to do is plug your iPhone back into your computer and restore to factory settings.
