Portland Essentials iPhone App Puts the Best of the Rose City in the Palm of Your Hand

PORTLAND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Portland Essentials released its latest update this week, putting the city’s top 288 listings for travelers and residents in one iPhone application.

Portland Essentials lists the tri-county area’s best destinations, including parks, landmarks, bridges, restaurants, golf, bike rides, festivals and the little things that make Portland the nation’s most livable city.

Since it launched in 2010, more than 2,350 people have downloaded Portland Essentials, making it one of the most popular apps about Portland, Ore. It can be purchased for $2.99 on iTunes at tinyurl.com/Portland-Essentials. the application operates with iPhone, iPad and iTouch devices.

“It’s a delicious resource for those who live in Portland and for those coming to visit,” explained author Deston Nokes, a Portland-based travel and freelance writer. “It’s updated regularly to add new entries and make any necessary changes.”
