Bressie ready for solo run

HUNKY singer Bressie (aka Niall Breslin of The Blizzards) will be releasing his debut album next Thursday.

Taking place in The Grand Social, Bressie will officially launch his first solo album, Colourblind Studio, which he recorded in London.

The invitation-only event will see the talented star give a special performance on the night with some snacks and drinks for VIPs. This is a part of Bressie’s six-week stint back in Ireland after moving to the UK last year.

FASHIONISTAS got to enjoy top class fashion shows last night all around Dublin city.

Taking place in Brown Thomas, BT2, The White Door and other top fashion boutiques, there was a massive turn out for the Vogue Fashion Night out.

Today ladies can go along to the Dublin Fashion Festival HQ on Dawson Street for Style School, where top stylists will be giving out tips.

CANNONBALL kicked off today in full speed.

The event, in aid of Barrestown, started this morning when Enda Kenny dropped the flag on Merrion Square.

Over 100,000 spectators will line the streets around Ireland in anticipation of this car racing event this weekend.

The weekend will see Kathryn Thomas, Hazel O’Sullivan, model Rebecca Maher and miss Ireland Holly Carpenter promoting the event.

The racing event takes place over three days in Mondello, Waterford, Cork, Clare, Kilkenny and Offaly.

TODAY is the day to put your face out there as a group of modelling scouts will be on the look out for the next big thing. Up and coming models have been filling out applications from the Herald all week long for the City Model search.

Hopefuls are asked to bring a photo of themselves to the old Waterstone’s building on Dawson Street today, where Jules Fallon from 1st Option models and off The Rails host Sonya Lennon will pick their favourites. The finalists will be announced at 6pm, with the finals tomorrow.

iPHONE lovers have the chance to spice up their phone covers this month.

Illustrator Chris Judge will be transforming iPhone covers, bags and accessories, with special personalised designs throughout September.

Taking place in store at the Carphone Warehouse over the next few weeks, customers will also have the chance to be entertained by Irish bands Two Charming Men and Frankie Bingo.
