White iPhone 4 Has Modified Lenses and Proximity Sensor

Earlier we told you that the White iPhone 4 is 200 microns thicker than the Black iPhone 4 and now, it seems, there’s much more to it than meets the eye.

The teardown of the White iPhone 4 by Apple Insider has revealed that the lenses and proximity sensors have been modified to fix proximity sensor issue and the issue of light leaking while taking photos.

The promotional images of the White iPhone 4 which are put by Apple on its official website also show that the front face of the phone has been modified to provide a better slit for the modified proximity sensor.

This only gets us to one conclusion that Apple had messed it up with the White iPhone 4 earlier but after nine months it has completely revamped the areas which had flaws.

iPhone 4 lovers can now get a White iPhone 4 for themselves without worrying about any previous issues. The only worry now, of course, is that the iPhone 5 could be arriving any time soon.
