New App Eases iPhone Battery Life Problems

There is a new iPhone app available that helps you get the most out of your device in between charges. Since the iOS 5 update, there have been many complaints from people saying they’ve had "lower than expected" battery life. Apple says that they will have a software update fix; in the meantime, what are you supposed to do?

Phillips Battery Sense is an app that doesn’t actually extend the life of your battery, but it is filled with interesting information about what you can do to maximize your remaining power when you’re between charges. It basically takes a look at your device’s current battery charge, and shows you what functions you can use (talking, Internet calling, eBook reading, Internet browsing, playing music, playing video, standby time, and gaming)and for how long.

There are some other things that you can do to make the most out of your iPhone’s battery life; switch off your WiFi, reduce your screen’s brightness, get rid of push notifications and disable location services.

Battery Sense does give you a snapshot or status of your entire battery situation in just one glance.

So until Apple gives us their fix, this might help you!
