New iPhone 5 is the Perfect Platform for Exciting New Game "Boomie vs Pirates" by Appiteks

Edwardsville, IL (PRWEB) September 13, 2012

Apples newest innovation, the iPhone 5 has finally been introduced.

An event in San Francisco was the setting for the unveiling that occurred less than 24 hours ago. The latest version of the popular smartphone is said to be 18 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than its predecessor.

Skeptics were wary of the design when images were leaked last week but it seems the features will overcome any possible design flaws. With a larger, actually taller, screen, measuring 4 inches from corner to corner, there is enough room for an additional row of icons.

The aluminum casing and glass screen offer a sleek yet refined appearance. The iPhone 5 is also capable of running on 4G LTE networks, which previous versions were unable to do. This was a major downfall for many iPhone users and is a welcomed advancement. This will also make the phone more competitive with other smart phones that have had this capability for more than a year.

Another significant improvement is the iPhone 5’s new iOS 6 mobile operating system.

One other aspect of the iPhone 4S that users felt could be better was the camera, with blurry pictures being the top complaint, Apple is seemingly confident that they have made significant advances to overcome this and other issues.

The best thing about the release of the new iPhone 5 is that it’s coming out just in time for the big introduction of the hot new game “Boomie vs Pirates” from Appiteks. With the larger screen and clearer picture gaming with be greatly enhanced.

The new faster network capability and operating system will add to the ultimate gaming experience the phone can provide for. The thinner, lighter design will also contribute to ultimate game play and fast reaction times.

With hundreds, if not thousands, of apps available gamers today are entirely aware of what they want. That holds especially true for the creator of “Boomie vs Pirates” and CEO of Appiteks, Chris Luck.

A life-long gamer, self-proclaimed techie, and ultimate visionary Luck offers that “Boomie is a game like no other and will rival even the best of the best that is available today.”

Boomie is an all-original and addicting iOS game where you get to be a mad scientist building super weapons to take over the world.

The only problem is that the pirates have found out about it and want to steel them form you. You must keep your plan on track and defend your island from these nasty pirates to obtain your ultimate goal, world domination.

The game is fun and exciting and will keep gamers coming back for more. With the clarity and huge screen size offered by the iPhone 5 the effects and thrills “Boomie vs Pirates” has to offer will be even greater.

Apple iPhone 4S Announcement Meets Mixed Reactions

According to engadget.com Apple released the new iPhone 4S on Oct. 4. The media coverage surrounding the run-up to the announcement was substantial. Fans around the world expected the company to reveal the iPhone 5. Many were surprised by the true release of an improved variation of the current version of the popular phone. Apple has created a fanatic customer base. Yesterday they discovered that is a double-edged sword.

On one hand it’s an enormous benefit to the company. Apple product lovers have demonstrated a remarkable inclination to buy the latest and greatest product. They will purchase the newest toy even when their existing product continues to work properly and provide great value. That’s a dream come true for Apple because it virtually guarantees them enormous revenue with each product release.

On the other hand it renders them vulnerable. As a trend-setting company Apple has largely determined the direction portable communications will travel. They catapulted the compact audio device market into the mainstream with the iPod and literally changed the face of cell phones forever with the iPhone. Apple’s cutting edge technology and style has set a very high bar for its competitors. Unfortunately for Apple, the bar is equally high for its products.

When an Apple product is released consumers have very high expectations of it. If it fails to reach those expectations the result can be unfortunate for the company. Some people who otherwise use Apple products may jump ship to a competitor.

Mona C. of New Jersey is an Apple fan who prefers Macintosh computers to windows machines with a passion. She uses an Android OS phone instead of an iPhone, however, because she’s not impressed with Apple’s offering. Mona explained, “Personally, I think that the iPhone is trying very hard to keep up with what Android has already released. Speech Recognition? Really? Like Android hasn’t had that since it first came out? I think that there are some folks who will always buy iPhone – but it’s rarely if ever state of the art technology. If I’m not mistaken, it’s still not 4G compatible, which really makes it behind the times on what the future ride is.”

The anticipation of an announcement of the iPhone 5 was so great that it’s failure to materialize actually caused a fall in the company stock price. While the price recovered, the implication is clear: Don’t disappoint your fans.

Scott C. from New Hampshire was expecting an iPhone 5 to be showcased and felt let down when a different product was announced. Scott said, “I feel disappointed. I expected an iPhone 5 that was slimmer with many more upgrades.”

Some people who are not normally Apple enthusiasts may have been more impressed by new features than the average Apple fan. Justin F, of Wisconsin, was swayed enough to consider the iPhone for his next purchase. Justin said, “I have an Android and have been reluctant to look into iPhone for a few different reasons. The announcement yesterday resolved a majority of the issues I had. Although it’s not a music subscription program, iTunes Match is a good start in that direction. The upgrade to the camera is very welcome, and Siri gives the iPhone one of the things that I use on a regular basis, voice recognition…in the next couple of months it’s upgrade time, and the iPhone 4s will be on the short list.”

While the new phone includes some impressive new features, like Siri, Apple might have been wise to make faster strides in releasing the iPhone 5 to keep its fan base happy. On the plus side for Apple, people who do not routinely use their products seem impressed with the phone and its new features, potentially bringing new users into the fold.

Verizon iPhone 4: Wireless Announcement Crushes AT&T, Maybe Not

The Verizon iPhone announcement at today’s news conference capped off months of anticipation of a iPhone 4 release date, that could impact AT&T’s reign.  Verizon’s stock (VZW) bounced on news of the next big thing.  Or is it really welcoming news?

Today, at a news conference, Verizon officials announced a new milestone in the company struggling to keep pace with an embattled AT&T company.  Up to this point, AT&T commanded market-share of Apple’s iconic iPhone.

The relationship between the two companies were supposed to be synergistic. However, Steve Jobs and Apple played hardball in not releasing too much proprietary information about its high-flying phone.

As a result, AT&T struggled to keep pace with server demands, giving it an eye-sore.  It appears they may have gotten a bum rap.  While the company lay bleeding in the trenches, Verizon capitalized on its negative PR backlash.  The company released news of its own Verizon iPhone 4 to be released next month.

A few things you should know about the Verizon iPhone 4:

  • Cost of the phone? – At this point, the company has set the beginning price at $199 for a 16GB.  Using the past as a barometer, the 32GB model should be roughly about double.
  • Monthly plans and cost – No information has been released about the Verizon iPhone 4’s monthly revolving plans.
  • Antenna – Remember the annoying problem with the last release?  Ugh!  Not this time around, though.  Verizon claims that it has made certain that the infamous death grip does not amount to signal loss.  So far, so good.
  • Release date – The phone is due out Feb. 10.  You may pre-order the phone to lock in yours.

But here’s where things get iffy.  The phones will essentially be the same, and Verizon does not have a leg-up on AT&T about the intricacies of the coveted phone.  How about apps? Not! Verizon said that Apple has enough to offer.  And finally, instead of running the iPhone 4 on the 4G network, it doesn’t.  What’s up with that? Get more detailed information about the Verizon iPhone 4 before it’s released in February.

iPhone 5 Will Be not Too Far Away

iPhone 5 is the product of many of my friends most concerned about, from the massive online exposure map, we can see that the very high expectations of the users of this product. Moreover, as competitors continue to hardware enhance the height of the iPhone hardware specification is also of concern to a major topic. With the arrival days of iPhone 5 is becoming closer, the new machines from other manufacturers are beginning to emerge, would like to take this momentum to get the attention of consumers. This approach does not a small income, and related products crazy pass messages on the Internet, configuration of the product specifications become more complicated and confusing. iPhone new products has always been to do security work very well, so every time the conference can attract many fruit powder, and more attention in order to guide those waiting for a long time consumers use the products listed on the mad rush to beyond even lined up all night.

Through the foreign media rumors, the iPhone will not only upgrade iPhone 4S, there will be a noticeable change in appearance will be. Recently also heard that Apple purchased from LG a large number of large-size screen, so the iPhone 5 is likely a 4.7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels, might no longer adhere to the Jobs for “mobile phone screen cannot exceed 3.5 inches “concept. In addition, in order to maximize the control of the phone body size, the iPhone 5 will narrow screen borders, and will be reduced by 20% in thickness than its predecessor.

In addition, many dealers have begun to lower prices and clear inventory of iPhone product inventory and iPhone accessories, but also indicate that the iPhone 5 will be not too far away from us. As for price, this new product is expected that the price will keep the level of a minimum of $ 199.

The First Look of The New Iphone How it Feels to Have Iphone 5!

The media greeted the iPhone 5 last week with a mediocre response. The new iPhone 5 has longer, larger screen, with a thinner body frame compared to iPhone 4S. If follows the first two parts of technology’s Olympic-sounding motto: citius, grandior, vilius which means, faster, bigger and cheaper.

But it is not all about statistics, and even though iPhone 5 does not break any records, it is still at the top of the league. Apple lovers will tell you that it is not about the records that matter, but the experience.

Raw specifications suggest that the new phone is 18% thinner and 20% lighter than last year’s 4S but these specs never reveal the feel of touching an iPhone. With the latest phone, typing or swiping feels like you are touching the core pixels. This is because a layer of glass is removed from the touchscreen. Though the 4in screen is longer, it has the same width and one can still swipe the iPhone across with a thumb, which is not possible with Samsung’s huge Galaxy S3.

Those having an iCloud account can set up their new gadget with everything – including photos, apps, settings and even Wi-Fi settings and alarm times.

Apple is promising more than 225 hours’ of standby time and more 3G browsing and talk time amounting to nearly 8 hours. The new “Panorama” camera functionality is remarkable too. You can take a picture while moving and the camera goes on clicking until one has a perfect scene. You can move yourself up and down or around an object. You have 360 degrees of freedom for moving. Once the clicks are done, the software gets it all together seamlessly.

The iPhone 5 has a rear camera which includes 1080p video recording which also includes stills in between. There is the new enhanced Siri too which can find and book restaurants, tells you football scores, and offers turn-by-turn navigation to anywhere. It also helps the user to open apps and look out for film times and reviews. It is now easy to be updated with weather forecasts and particular stock prices too.

Here is a summary of what the new iPhone 5 can do:

The Apple Iphone 5 Coming Out Next Tuesday

Apple on Tuesday invited media to a “special event” called “Let’s Talk iPhone” next week at its headquarters in Cupertino, an unusual location for a company that typically introduces major products at larger venues in San Francisco.

The invitation did not have any other details, and an Apple spokesman would not provide further information.

The new iPhone would be the first major product introduction under CEO Tim Cook, who took over full-time after co-founder Steve Jobs resigned last month.

It was unclear if Jobs, who is now chairman, will take the stage at the event.

“This is the iPhone 5,” ThinkEquity analyst Mark McKechnie said of the event.

Though a good product, the current iPhone4 could use some improvements, he added. “We talked about it having a bigger screen, a dual core processor, and probably integrates pretty well with the iCloud.”

The iPhone-introduced in 2007 with the touchscreen template now adopted by its rivals-remains the gold standard in the booming smartphone market.

Apple introduced the iPhone 4 in June 2010 in black 16 gigabyte and 32 gigabyte versions, with white ones added to the lineup in April. The company typically refreshes its iPhone lineup during its developer event in June, but delayed the new model this year.

Apple sold 20.34 million iPhone’s in the third quarter ended June 25, which analysts say helped it vault past Nokia and Samsung Electronics to become the world’s biggest smartphone maker.

All that said we will have to see what is said about the concerns that are on the market namely

1) Defects in the screen

2) will the price be set this time

3) will it be dual core

4) how well will it integrate with ICLOUD

These are questions we most consider before buying or upgrading.

New App Eases iPhone Battery Life Problems

There is a new iPhone app available that helps you get the most out of your device in between charges. Since the iOS 5 update, there have been many complaints from people saying they’ve had "lower than expected" battery life. Apple says that they will have a software update fix; in the meantime, what are you supposed to do?

Phillips Battery Sense is an app that doesn’t actually extend the life of your battery, but it is filled with interesting information about what you can do to maximize your remaining power when you’re between charges. It basically takes a look at your device’s current battery charge, and shows you what functions you can use (talking, Internet calling, eBook reading, Internet browsing, playing music, playing video, standby time, and gaming)and for how long.

There are some other things that you can do to make the most out of your iPhone’s battery life; switch off your WiFi, reduce your screen’s brightness, get rid of push notifications and disable location services.

Battery Sense does give you a snapshot or status of your entire battery situation in just one glance.

So until Apple gives us their fix, this might help you!

Have you noticed a shorter battery life in your iPhone since you made the OS upgrade?

The Best iPad Apps for Little Ones

You’ve finally done it.

After months of dreaming of a new, shiny iPad, you’ve gone ahead and purchased one for yourself. Have you figured out the bad news yet? Turns out, you weren’t the only one waiting to take the plunge. Your kids were too, and they’re even more excited than you about your new purchase.Your iPad is quickly going to become a family iPad, filled with as many family friendly app as your living room is filled with toys.

The good news, if it can be called that, is that there are thousands of amazing apps geared towards kids. Apps that are not only fun, but are great learning tools. Trust me, knowing that your new iPad is actually a wonderful educational resource will make the sticky finger marks on that shiny screen easier to accept.

The Monkey Preschool Lunchbox App by Thup Games is wonderful for two and three year-olds. It teaches shapes, colors, and basic computer skills. Kids love the happy little monkey and can play it easily on their own. For $0.99, you can keep your toddler entertained through many restaurant dinners that run too long.

All kids love to color, and the iPad lets them get creative without crayons or markers. The Truck Modz Build and Drive app ($1.99) is fun for boys who’ll enjoy creating and coloring their own dump trucks and cement mixers. Girls will have more fun with the Dora the Explorer Coloring Adventure ($1.99).

Bob Books taught kids how to read long before the first iPad was shipped out, but the app version (Bob Books Reading Magic Lite) is even better than the physical Bob Books, and there’s even a free version. If you’re familiar with Bob Books, you’ll recognize the characters and the stories, but you will appreciate the new level of interactivity. The app will take your child from recognizing their letters to reading simple stories.

Once you start downloading these wonderful kiddie apps, you might be tempted to keep on downloading more and more. My advice is to limit yourself to three to begin. You can always download more later. After all, it is your iPad, and not your child’s, or at least, it was supposed to be.
