T-Mobile Plans to Sell iPhone 5

Look who has jumped on the iPhone bandwagon! It is none other than T-Mobile. Starting April 12, T-Mobile will start selling iPhones that will offer cheaper and contract less data plans, as reported by T-Mobile authorities. This will result in making T-Mobile the first U.S network to offer iPhones with no contract.

The new plan from T-Mobile will allow the user to upgrade their phones whenever they want. Unlike AT&T and Verizon who ask their customers to take a 2 year contract for using iPhones on a contract basis, T-Mobile has gone 2 steps further it seems. T-Mobile authorities have said that starting April 12, the newly announced 4G LTE network will be available for their iPhone 5 at a meager down payment of $99, and the rest of the amount can be paid by the customer in $20 increments for the next 24 months.

Also, a WSJ article states that iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S will also be available. T-Mobile posted on their website on Monday about the data plans which in short go something like this:

1) Unlimited Talk and text messaging with 500Mb of data download for $50 a month for the first line.

2) Increase of $60 a month for 2Gb of data, or $70 a month for unlimited data usage.

T-Mobile also announced the arrival of Samsung Galaxy S4 and Blackberry Z10. Both are priced at $99. While Samsung Galaxy S4 is scheduled to arrive on May 1 , Blackberry Z10 has been launched. HTC One will also be priced at $99 and was told that it was “coming soon”.

There are various other agencies like phoneservices which are claiming to provide free phone services to major US territories and overseas with the participation with the help of government agencies, safelink wireless and budget mobile wireless. T-Mobile’s Chief Marketing Officer Mike Sievert said customers who want to leave T-Mobile can do so but they have to finish paying off or trade in the phone for a "fair market value credit."
